Kindergarten Math Worksheets
Kindergarten math is about numbers becoming things a child can hold in mind: how many, which is more, what ten looks like. The drill sheets at this level keep every quantity small — sums and differences within 5 and then 10, teen numbers as ten and some ones, coins and o'clock times — and print large, with generous space, because the hand doing the writing is still learning to write.
Use these sheets in short bursts, a few problems at a time, and treat counters and fingers as tools rather than crutches. The point at this age is not speed but the growing certainty that seven is always seven, whichever way it is split.
