What this worksheet covers
Set A of this kindergarten mixed review sheet holds twenty time and money problems on one printable page, with the answer key on the page behind it. What makes this set particular: six of the problems are drawn clock faces to read and the quantities are amounts of money, so answers need a dollar or cent sign to be complete. Two problems from the middle of the page — "7 nickels" and "How many cents is a dime worth?" — show the range. The skill maps to Common Core K.MD.3.
Skills practised
Kindergarten time and money means reading a clock to the hour, o'clock times, and the value of each coin. What a student is asked to do here is reading a clock to the hour, the value of each coin, and naming coins by value. Working the page asks a student to carry money notation through to the answer and read both hands of an analog clock. Nineteen different answers appear across the twenty problems, so a student cannot copy one result down the page.
About the mixed review format
The 20 problems are deliberately assorted — problem 6, "7 nickels" is followed by something of another shape — so the student has to read each one rather than run the last method again. Clocks, coins, change and elapsed time on one page keep the student switching between two systems, which is what daily life asks.

The three sets come from the same generator with three different seeds: same skill, same layout, fresh numbers, and an answer key computed with the problems. Where Set A's problem 11 is "Which coin is worth 10¢?", Set B's is "8 quarters".
How to use this worksheet
Five focused minutes beats twenty distracted ones at kindergarten. Fold this mixed review in half, do one part of the twenty problems today and the rest tomorrow, and let the student use fingers or counters if they want them. Keep the key face down until all twenty problems are finished, then go through the misses together rather than only totalling the score.
One mistake to watch for
The hour hand is read as the hour it is nearest to, so 3:50 becomes 4:50. On this kindergarten mixed review, problem 13 ("How many cents is a dime worth?") is the kind of item where it shows.
The hour hand has moved almost to the next numeral and the student has not learned that it is still in the earlier hour until the minute hand passes twelve.
Shade the space between two numerals on a paper clock and say "it is still three until the long hand gets back to the top".
