Kindergarten Addition Worksheets
The kindergarten addition sequence is about sums within 5 and then within 10, and the pairs that make ten, and these five sheets cover it format by format, three versions each.
What the kindergarten addition sheets cover
Kindergarten addition comes in five formats (problem counts in brackets): drill (20, straight practice), timed drill (50, timed fluency), missing number (20, find the blank), mixed review (20, mixed shapes), and vertical format (16, column work). Set A uses numbers from 0 to 10, 14 column problems that regroup, and 27 fill-in blanks. Problem types: sums within 5, sums within 10, and making ten. All five come as Sets A, B and C with answer keys, 126 problems per set from 16 to 50 a sheet. From the Set A drill, problem 7: "3 + 1" (answer 4). Common Core: K.OA.5.

The drill has 20 problems, three of them regrouping (problem 7: "3 + 1"). The timed drill has 50 problems, eight of them regrouping (problem 17: "1 + 0"). The missing number has 20 problems, numbers to 10 (problem 7: "1 + ___ = 4"). The mixed review has 20 problems, one of them regrouping (problem 7: "4 + 0"). The vertical format has 16 problems, two of them regrouping (problem 6: "2 + 0").
