What this worksheet covers
This is a 30-problem mixed review for grade 5 division, printed in black and white with the key on page two. What makes this set particular: ten quotients leave a remainder that has to be reported, not rounded away and the numbers run as high as 8,325. Problems 11 and 21, for instance, are "700 ÷ 10" and "4641 ÷ 51". Common Core 5.NBT.6 is the slot this page fills.

Mixing exact quotients with remainders and small divisors with large ones keeps the student deciding what each problem needs.
Set A, Set B and Set C
All three sets are produced by the site's deterministic generator from a fixed seed, so they are the same every time the site is built and the answer keys are exact. Where Set A's problem 16 is "4955 ÷ 5", Set B's is "3100 ÷ 100".
How to use this worksheet
By grade 5 a student should take all 30 division problems in one sitting. If the page takes more than about fifteen minutes, the underlying facts are probably not automatic yet, and that is worth fixing before more division practice piles on. Mark the 30 problems the same day using the key — an error caught immediately is a correction, and one caught next week is a habit.
One mistake to watch for
Remainders are reported larger than the divisor: 29 ÷ 4 = 6 R 5. Watch problem 21 of this mixed review — "4641 ÷ 51" — for this one.
The student stopped one step early and did not check that the leftover is smaller than what is being divided by.
Add a checking step to every problem: multiply back and add the remainder; if the remainder is not smaller than the divisor, divide once more.
