What this worksheet covers
There are sixteen decimals problems here — one page to work, one page of answers to check against — and Sets B and C repeat the layout with different numbers. Within that, operands run to three decimal places, so the decimal points have to be lined up rather than the right-hand digits and the numbers run as high as 98.494. Problems 6 and 11, for instance, are "75.308 − 31.499" and "27.682 − 7.788". Common Core 6.NS.3 is the slot this page fills.

How to use this worksheet
Expect twenty minutes or so of real attention for sixteen problems. At grade 6, decimals rewards care over speed — a rushed mixed review gets the arithmetic right and the signs or units wrong. Mark the sixteen problems the same day using the key — an error caught immediately is a correction, and one caught next week is a habit.
One mistake to watch for
Dividing by a decimal is attempted directly and the point in the quotient is lost. Problem 11 on this grade 6 mixed review page, "27.682 − 7.788", is where to look for it.
The step of scaling both numbers to make the divisor whole has been skipped.
Multiply divisor and dividend by the same power of ten first, and write the new problem out before dividing.
