What this worksheet covers

Each problem arrives as a few sentences of context rather than a bare expression and some values are written as fractions rather than whole numbers. Further down, problem 21 asks "If y is proportional to x and y = 56 when x = 7, what is y…". It is written against Common Core 7.RP.2 — Ratios & Proportional Relationships, grade 7.

About the mixed review format
The 30 problems are deliberately assorted — problem 11, "On a map, 9 cm represents 63 km. What distance does 7 cm…" is followed by something of another shape — so the student has to read each one rather than run the last method again. Simplifying, scaling and unit rates on the same page keep the student reading what each problem wants.
Set A, Set B and Set C
The three sets come from the same generator with three different seeds: same skill, same layout, fresh numbers, and an answer key computed with the problems. Where Set A's problem 16 is "72 pages in 2 days = ___ pages per day", Set B's is "116 miles in 2 hours = ___ miles per hour".
How to use this worksheet
Expect twenty minutes or so of real attention for 30 problems. At grade 7, ratios and proportions rewards care over speed — a rushed mixed review gets the arithmetic right and the signs or units wrong. Mark the 30 problems the same day using the key — an error caught immediately is a correction, and one caught next week is a habit.
One mistake to watch for
A proportion is cross-multiplied with the wrong pairs. Problem 21 on this grade 7 mixed review page, "If y is proportional to x and y = 56 when x = 7, what is y…", is where to look for it.
The setup was written with mismatched units across the equals sign.
Label every term with its unit before solving; the same unit must be on top on both sides.
