What the grade 3 multiplication sheets cover

The drill has 20 problems, numbers to 10 (problem 7: "3 × 2"). The timed drill has 20 problems, numbers to 10 (problem 7: "9 × 2"). The missing number has 22 problems, numbers to 72 (problem 8: "? × 8 = 72"). The mixed review has 20 problems, numbers to 90 (problem 7: "9 × 80"). Estimate first
Before working a multiplication exactly, round each number to its first digit and multiply the rounded numbers in your head. Then work the exact answer and compare the two. If they are far apart, or have a different number of digits, the most likely cause is a place-value slip, such as a dropped zero or a partial product written one column over, and it is worth a second look before moving on.
