This is a 22-problem mixed review for grade 2 multiplication, printed in black and white with the key on page two. The quantities stay small, which keeps the idea in the foreground rather than the size of the numbers. Problems 8 and 15, for instance, are "1 row of 5: 5" and "5 rows of 4: 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4". Skills practised

About the mixed review format

One mistake to watch for
Arrays are counted one square at a time. On this grade 2 mixed review, problem 15 ("5 rows of 4: 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4") is the kind of item where it shows.
Rows have not yet been seen as equal groups that can be added.
Write the repeated-addition sentence beneath each array and read it before counting.
