What the grade 2 measurement sheets cover
Grade 2 measurement comes in five formats (problem counts in brackets): drill (24, straight practice), timed drill (60, timed fluency), missing number (24, find the blank), mixed review (24, mixed shapes), and word problems (22, stories). Set A uses numbers from 0 to 12,000 and 42 fill-in blanks. Problem types: adding and subtracting lengths, feet and inches, meters and centimeters, and comparing lengths, plus two more. All five come as Sets A, B and C with answer keys, 154 problems per set from 22 to 60 a sheet. From the Set A drill, problem 9: "39 ft + 32 ft" (answer 71 ft). Common Core: 2.MD.3 and 2.MD.5.

Story problems in real-world contexts.
The drill has 24 problems, numbers to 41 (problem 9: "39 ft + 32 ft"). The timed drill has 60 problems, numbers to 240 (problem 21: "8:00 plus 150 minutes"). The missing number has 24 problems, numbers to 12,000 (problem 9: "___ pt = 16 cups"). The mixed review has 24 problems, numbers to 240 (problem 9: "5:00 plus 150 minutes"). The word problems has 22 problems, story problems (problem 8: "A caterpillar crawled 42 centimeters up a branch. Then it…").
