What this worksheet covers
60 integers problems fill this timed drill page; problem 21 asks "27 + 30", and the sheet stays at that level throughout. What makes this set particular: 34 of the 60 problems involve a negative quantity and one of the six column problems need regrouping and the rest do not, so the two cases are mixed rather than blocked. Further down, problem 41 asks "2 + 7". It is written against Common Core 7.NS.1 — The Number System, grade 7.

How to use this worksheet
Work it without a calculator. Every one of the 60 integers problems is designed to be done by hand, and reaching for a calculator at grade 7 skips exactly the reasoning being built. Keep the key face down until all 60 problems are finished, then go through the misses together rather than only totalling the score.
