What the grade 6 percents sheets cover
Grade 6 percents comes in five formats (problem counts in brackets): drill (30, straight practice), timed drill (60, timed fluency), missing number (24, find the blank), mixed review (30, mixed shapes), and word problems (10, stories). Set A uses numbers from 0.01 to 500, 10 with fractions, and 16 with decimals to 2 places. Problem types: percent of a number, finding what percent one number is of another, and percents, fractions and decimals, plus one more. The drill has 30 problems, numbers to 500 (problem 11: "5% of 500"). The timed drill has 60 problems, numbers to 500 (problem 21: "10% of 100"). The missing number has 24 problems, story problems (problem 9: "10% of ___ = 10"). The mixed review has 30 problems, numbers to 300 (problem 11: "5 is what percent of 100?"). The word problems has 10 problems, story problems (problem 4: "A cyclist rides 72 miles in 4 hours. At this same unit…").
